Lion in the Sun – Dubai

Greenery in restaurants is a key tool for creating unique atmospheres and reinforcing a space’s identity. In the project developed for Lion in the Sun in Dubai, the greenery design draws inspiration from the safari world, creating an immersive experience where nature, design, and cuisine coexist in perfect harmony.

In this case, the restaurant’s greenery features a lush and elegant arrangement, dominated by deep green tones that lend depth, sophistication, and a strong connection to nature. This greenery complements the restaurant’s concept, inspired by the contemporary essence of *Out of Africa*, and helps create an immersive and exclusive atmosphere from the moment guests arrive.

One of the project’s most distinctive features is the grand central staircase, enveloped by lush greenery that serves as the space’s main focal point. The built-in planters surround the entire structure, creating a striking natural pathway that adds depth, movement, and a strong sense of immersion.

The design is complemented by tall plants strategically placed throughout the restaurant, creating a sense of continuity in the use of greenery and guiding visitors along the entire route. Orange-hued bougainvillea vines add splashes of color that harmonize with the earthy palette of materials and finishes, enhancing the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of the space.

Plants in restaurants not only serve an aesthetic purpose but also help enhance the perception of the surroundings and enrich the customer experience. At Lion in the Sun, the combination of plant arrangements, varying heights, and color contrasts creates a sense of sophistication, exclusivity, and elegance that reinforces the restaurant’s identity and creates a memorable atmosphere for its guests.
