Arbor Day at Green+Decorum: We’re celebrating the second edition of an initiative that has already become part of our team’s identity. A day for coming together, connecting with nature, and committing to the environment around us.
Although Arbor Day is officially celebrated on March 21, this year at Green+Decorum we celebrated it on April 17. The reason is quite simple: what matters isn’t the exact date, but being able to celebrate it together. Our daily work often takes us away from the workshop, between setups and installations, so we looked for a time when most of the team could come together and experience this day as a team.

This second edition of Tree Day marks another step forward on a journey we began last year. It’s not just about repeating an initiative, but about ensuring its continuity, integrating it into the way we do things, and understanding the environment in which we work.
Beyond its symbolic significance, this day is becoming an opportunity to take a break, step outside, and do something together in a different setting. It’s a chance to set aside the workshop routine and connect more directly with the earth and with the team.
Every day, we work with natural elements, design with plants, and create living spaces. That’s why Arbor Day is also a way to translate that philosophy into real, tangible, and accessible action. It’s not just about talking about nature—it’s about being part of it.
What’s more, this project has something special about it: it’s taking place right here in our own neighborhood. On the grounds surrounding our warehouse, where we’re gradually creating a vibrant space—one with purpose and a future.
A place that evolves alongside all of us.
A project that continues to grow
With this second edition of Tree Day, we continue to shape a project that grows year after year. It is a space that is already beginning to change, transform, and take on new meaning with every new tree planted.
We continue to expand our food forest by introducing new species and strengthening existing ones. We focus on trees that are well-suited to our climate, capable of blending into the environment and providing long-term benefits: shade, food, and biodiversity.

We aren't looking for immediate results. This is a project that requires time, care, and perseverance. The idea is to come back every year, keep adding trees, watch them grow, and see how this space gradually transforms into something bigger.
Every tree planted is a small decision that is part of a larger whole. It’s a way to build for the long term, make a positive impact, and leave a lasting legacy.
A Day to Share
April 17 was another special day.
Arbor Day once again turned into a day of working together, but with a different approach. No rush, no pressure, no screens. Just the team, nature, and time to do something together.
It was a day of getting our hands dirty, of teamwork, of hard work, and also of relaxed moments. It was an opportunity to connect on a different level, strengthen bonds, and build something together beyond our usual work.
Stepping outside our usual context allows us to see ourselves in a different light. It helps us realize that, beyond being colleagues, we are part of a team that shares values, goals, and a way of doing things.

This second edition of Tree Day confirms that we are on the right track. Initiatives like this not only benefit the environment but also bring people together.
We continue to move forward step by step, building something that will last beyond a single day.
Because growing also means putting down roots.
And at Green+Decorum, we continue to do just that, year after year.
