Maison et Objet Paris: A Journey Through the Cradle of Design

This year, we had the privilege of immersing ourselves in the vibrant world of creativity and innovation at the Maison et Objet Paris trade fair , which celebrated its 30th anniversary from January 18 to 22. This trip proved to be an inspiring experience, providing us with valuable insights that will undoubtedly guide the evolution of our future projects.

Exploring the diversity of products presented at the fair allowed us to learn about more materials, expanding our creative repertoire. With flowers being our most precious product, we are thrilled to discover new possibilities and approaches to incorporate freshness and authenticity into our plant designs.

Maison et Objet Paris brings together an international community of professionals dedicated to design, decoration, and lifestyle, serving as a trendsetter in the industry. This event provided us with a unique insight into the creative trends that will influence the design landscape in the coming months.

The perception of the future is highlighted through the work of young designers and researchers who are overcoming technological barriers and revolutionizing the way we design and produce. What is remarkable is the fusion of modern innovation with traditional craftsmanship, paying attention to it and valuing it.

As for the future of retail, Maison et Objet gave us a cutting-edge view of emerging trends. From storefronts to display furniture, the store atmosphere and the shopping process, a comprehensive approach was evident.

Identifying these trends in retail keeps us abreast of our customers' current concerns, allowing us to offer them more accurate and personalized service. It also underscores the fundamental idea that design, connection with nature, and sustainability can not only coexist, but also enrich each other. This constant reminder reinforces our commitment to integrating these values into every aspect of our work, ensuring that our creations are not only aesthetically appealing, but also environmentally friendly.

We paid special attention to the planters, an essential element in our projects.

We explored various options for plant pots, discovering a range of textures, materials, and colors that will expand our design possibilities. From handmade ceramics to fibers in an infinite variety of colors.

We were captivated by the charm of papier-mâché, a lightweight and affordable alternative that adapts masterfully to our designs. This ancient craft technique, originating in China, India, and Persia, has won us over with its versatility in creating decorative and artistic objects.

In addition to its aesthetic appeal, papier-mâché offers us a key advantage: its sustainability. In projects where the need for water for plants is not a factor, the durability of these planters becomes a standout feature. This ease of use, combined with its resistance, ensures that each project exudes lasting elegance and environmental responsibility.

Papier-mâché is not just a material; it is a door that opens to endless creative opportunities in our future design projects. We are excited to incorporate this technique into our toolbox, elevating the interior design experience with planters that reflect innovation, tradition, and sustainability.

In summary, our visit to the Maison et Objet Paris trade show was a captivating journey that unlocked new possibilities for creativity in interior design. Each discovery promises to inspire and enrich our future projects.
